Re: Custom Built Windshield Wiper Delay Assembly's
I have converted to 1996 tilt column with a delay on the stick but still have the original two speed motor. All original wiring is gone and I will being installing and new harness after the body work gets completed.
Will this part allow the 1996 column & old wiper motor work together? Or do you make an easier fix? Thanks, Blue666(2) |

Re: Custom Built Windshield Wiper Delay Assembly's
Please, feel free to correct me if I am wrong. I would venture a guess that the delay circuitry in the '96 was elsewhere in the vehicle other than the column. With the column housing the switch and potentiometer on the stalk to control the delay circuitry. With that said, I cannot advise you on how to integrate the '96 stalk into one of my delay units.

Re: Custom Built Windshield Wiper Delay Assembly's
Amassing parts as we type, just ordered 33 potentiometers today. I am prepping to churn out 50 delays.
hang in there, Bill |

Re: Custom Built Windshield Wiper Delay Assembly's
These delays are tried and tested for 60-72 trucks but applying them to subsequent years requires testing which i am unable to perform. I would be happy to discuss the workings of the delay with you and possible application to your vehicle. LMK.
