Re: 62 chevy service truck
How much for the air cleaner assembly? I assume it would fit on a '65 230 I6?
Thanks for your time.

Re: 62 chevy service truck
Dash is fairly easily removed. Two bolts each side and about 20+ spotwelds across the front. I have taken two out at junk yards with a battery drill. Just an FYI..

Re: 62 chevy service truck
Travis, sorry for the delay. I was out of the country all last week. Yes, the windshield needs to be out. The spot welds weld the outer and inner lip of the bottom windshield lip together. They are easily seen and if you are close to electricity no big deal but in a junkyard with a battery drill it can be a pain when the battery dies. The ones I have pulled have been 64-66. I'm not possitive how the return come apart. I have not had a knee knocker cab to get a good look.

Re: 62 chevy service truck
Sir,
Did that service truck with the 235 have a 4 blade radiator cooling fan? If you still have it how much is it? What do you do with the engines? Sell any parts off of them like the timing cover? Gene Robben, Topeka, KS |
