Re: Lambrecht Auction Purchase
Welcome to the site man and congrats on purchasing some kick butt history...be safe on your trip home.
There will be a huge EBAY sale of Lambrecht Beer Cans in the near future I bet!! I wonder how many people knew their old trade in was in the auction and followed it? I know one guy repurchased his trade-in according to History Channel. |

Re: Lambrecht Auction Purchase
I have a workshop in that complex just 8 bays away. I have to finish my Ramblur (65 Rambler Classic) first before I can roll the C10 in. In the mean time I plan on using the secondary garage to get the C10 in the air and begin disassembly and restoration. I'm currently in Maryland for the next 3 years on a job assignment, living in an apt and renting garage space.....will keep you guys posted of the progress....

Re: Lambrecht Auction Purchase
I'm not sure I have seen such a kewl beginning to a project! You must be a professional with the video/camera stuff for sure. Since we all have to wait on the Ramblur...post a pic at least so we can see it.

Re: Lambrecht Auction Purchase
Awesome video, and a great purchase. I too am in MD and wish i had done the same with my adventure of picking mine up in southwest Virginia. My 72 doesn't have as low of mileage , but it is a 1 owner truck and i rescued it from its resting place in a pasture, in Weyers Cave, VA about 14 miles from the closest paved road. Best of luck to ya with your restoration, I'll b watching, and who knows, maybe we will meet at car show here in Maryland.
