Re: 57 Short Box 235 5sp C4
I used a Wilwood priority valve with 2 front outlets, 1 rear outlet and brake light switch all in 1 unit, looks good we'll see how it works, i have 2# residual valves in all 3 lines.

Re: 57 Short Box 235 5sp C4
I bought a Horton sway bar for the front but it just wouldnt fit like i thought it would, so after a few nights sleeping on the issue i decided to try the original Corvette front sway bar again. I have it mounted but the original linkage wont work like i have it so am trying to conger up some different linkages, doesnt look like the hiem joints are going to work right so will sleep on the for a day or 2 then fab up some.

Time to get this project updated a bit, frame and under carraige pretty much ready to go. Now on to body work and paint, i suck at both. Haven't taken many pics of the many screw ups and do overs the last few months, but am finally makeing some progress.

Re: 57 Short Box 235 5sp C4
After my giant paint screwup priming the doors that ended up looking more like bed liner than epoxy i was PO'd so i didnt even take any pics, it took over a week to get the epoxy cured enough to sand and lots of work to get it mostly off. I then reprimed with urethane and put base coat and clear coat on the inside of them and set the aside under cover. Next is to get the cab ready and do the same to it.
I cleaned up the inside and put some epoxy under the dash, firewall and floor. Will let that cure a week or so before i attempt to prime and bc-cc the interior. |

Re: 57 Short Box 235 5sp C4
Did the firewall while i was at it. Can now put cab back on the frame and begin interior assembly, wireing, ect. Its cold now and keeping paint booth warm enough is a real pita. Have a warm place to put it for the winter to work on the interior and try to make it run again. If weather cooperates and i get interior wired and fired i can put the doors on, maybe prime the fenders.
