Re: Project "My Happy Mess"
Thanks I think each of us can attest to how cold it's been. The streets aren't clear enough for me to be driving. My brother wants to finish this up asap, and I agree. It's been a long stretched out project. Shouldn't be too much longer and I'll fire her up again.

Thanks! Scuffing up these pieces reading for primer/paint, yes. It'll be nice to get these pieces finished and installed; out of the shop.

These two still need finishing on top. Everything else shown is done.

Re: Project "My Happy Mess"
Paint and undercoating look great. All you lack now is the rest of the bed correct?
You should be cruising really soon... |

Re: Project "My Happy Mess"
Thanks Mike. Yes just the rest left. I think he'll be working on the tailgate and front panel this week. When the weather clears we'll get the front inners installed and out of the way for more space to finish up.

Re: Project "My Happy Mess"
The list is getting shorter. Got the front inner fenders installed. Not happy with the driver's side. We had to modify the passage next to the steering due to it not fitting correctly. While we were at it, we bolted on (temporarily) the rear tubs. Got a complement on the drive home Pics up later.

Re: Project "My Happy Mess"
Not sure why, and I'm wondering if these repro front inner fenders are really for my truck We had to cut out a larger notch (outlined in red) so that the steering shaft would clear. Don't care! It fits, now
