You put a sticker on the air cleaner? Busy day.

lol

Kidding, of course. I've run an Edelbrock carb on my 71 Pontiac for over 20 years, and it runs great.

Drove "old country" about 100 miles today. Went to a small cruise in that a church sponsored with some friends. Got a few pics but I can't figure out how to post them from my phone.

Looks good TJ. I got the shocks off mine and wd40,d rear coil spring ,trailing arm and track bar bolts. Got the driveshaft out, clutch line loose, oil pressure line off. Two bolts and trans linkages all that's left to get the engine out. That and a hoist.lol

Re: What did you do to your truck today part III

Yesterday I removed a cab from another truck that was being broken in the UK and today I did a 375 mile round trip to collect a set of wheels I won on evil bay

One of the few times you will see a Ford towing a Chevy

My eBay win

In the car on the way home

That was one very busy weekend

Martin,
Those are very nice wheels indeed, and a good price too. Be careful about the offset/backspacing. My guess is they are 10" wide wheels. I have found for a 15" wheel, that 3.75" of backspacing is good and 4" might rub the outer tie rod. It is very close.
Also be careful that your lugs are long enough. You should get at least 1/2" of lug threads into the lug nut.
Congratulations on getting a nice cab too.

TJ,
I'm looking at your brake booster in the photo. It looks bent. Maybe twisted? What's up with the brake booster? It looks damaged.

Not sure....I never paid much attention. lol Been that way since I got the truck is all I know. I'll get a better picture for ya so you can tell me if something is bent. lol Works OK and is tight and not going anywhere so I never touched it. Will be replaced as the booster seems to be shot...barely touch the pedal and you fly through the windshield. haha

Re: What did you do to your truck today part III

Found this little fridge magnet in Del's truck while stripping it for Martin yesterday.

Quite liked it.

Would guess its a few years old.

Anything of interest associated with it?

Sometimes these things are part of a bigger thing.
