Re: intro + 66 black bagged long fleet
Coulter, I would like to see you draw your truck as it is right now. I knew a few people growing up that could draw really good. I thought theirs was the best I ever seen until I seen yours. Thats just ridiculous how spot on they are.
Also I found the website for the piston show. It says your vehicle must be older then 65. Wonder why that would be the cut off date when the 66 is the same thing. Here is a copy of the rules on the page. Quote:

Re: intro + 66 black bagged long fleet
I have always loved your shop!!
I am however surprised you heavy stool is not on casters... I would probably spend more time in a shop like that, than I would in a house.

Although I gotta confess, Whippinsaw stepside with the fleetside trim and the bedrails was mighty purty too !! Too bad the TOTM and TOTY dont get a trophy.... because you know, that would be badass

Re: intro + 66 black bagged long fleet
Coulter, I remember your conversation with someone about a show you wanted to attend.
I remember the rules of nothing after 1965. Well I emailed the guy in charge and he said you will get in. His last comment was "Tell them Bubba said it is ok." So looks like your golden for the show brother. Emails in reverse order: Tell him to come on and bubba said it was alright. On*Jun 7, 2014 7:44 PM, "bb311lab" <bb311lab@gmail.com> wrote:Ok thank you. I have a friend who has a 66. He plans on going. He is coming from Oklahoma. Sure would be a shame to not let him in. His truck build was really awesome and lots of hours in it. ------- Original message --------From: bubba turner <thesingingbubba@gmail.com>*Date:*05/29/2014 9:03 AM*(GMT-06:00)*To: bb311lab <bb311lab@gmail.com>*Subject: Re: Older then 65*If you show up at the gate with a 65 the guys will let you in.B On*May 29, 2014 8:52 AM, "bb311lab" <bb311lab@gmail.com> wrote:I seen it say vehicle must be older then 65.*So a 65 isnt allowed?

Re: intro + 66 black bagged long fleet
yeah man, don't worry about that s*it. most of the world can't tell a 61 from a 66 in these old trucks, so you're golden. and they say "like body style"...
hmmm, pistons and paint in denison tx? when is it , cause its been a while but it was big fun and i'd like to go again... |
