It's amazing how many hours it takes to make a work of art. Looks great bud. Keep up the good work. 👏👏👏

Thanks, I'm pretty sure there will be plenty of support for what I plan on hauling in this truck.

Thanks Ryan. The bed floor looks better in the pics than it really is. I fixed about 20 rust thru holes and straightened over 100 dents.

Actually, I quit using the tig along time ago. It just took too long. But when I did I ran it pretty cool probably in the 40-50 amp range.

Re: 1969 Short Wide

It may not look like much but these updates take me a bunch of hours to get done. I spent way too long on the bed floor and tubs. I hope they turn out good, they were super rough.

Looks good Mike, it must be tough to be a perfectionist lol, but all your time you put into this build will result in alot of compliments every time you take it out.

I don't know about perfectionist, just slow and old I think. I have a busy life too so getting time on the project isn't always easy.

Thanks Dan. I'm thinking a wood floor would have been the easy way out. My next one I hope to find a better donor bed.

Re: 1969 Short Wide

More of the same cycle: Blast, beat dents, weld, bodywork, primer, repeat......

Started on the front bed panel and core support.

Thanks Mark. It won't be long and you can have it back. From my estimates, I only lack the inner fenders, under side of the hood braces, and sides of the tailgate to blast. I'm probably forgetting something though.

I know your going with Red so I'm excited to see how it comes out. Are you planning on going with a brighter Red or a darker Red?
