[QUOTE=jbclassix;5915775]Hey Heavy, have you seen this burb on eBay?![/QUOTE.
I've seen that burb on the local ad's. It needs a lot of body work and a tranny. I could have bought it last fall from the previous owner but it didn't feel right. I don't have the money or the space to get another project rig at the moment. I hope it goes to a good home.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!
New to forum. Just picked up this 1967 GMC Suburban from original owner 60,000 original miles 327 auto. Just added PW steering and PW brakes. They only made about 5000 1967 chevy suburbans Just wondering how many 1967 GMC suburbans they made. Jim in Oklahoma
Amazing example of a super clean, original 67 GMC burban, love the color. Great find and welcome to the board.

New to the site. This is my 1968 GMC suburban that I'm restoring. Just got the body off, about to paint the frame. Not sure how to post actual pictures.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!
Hey gang. Wonderful site, and a truly valuable resource for all things vintage Chevy truck. By way of introduction, meet Earl, my new 'Burban. I've had a thing for old Suburbans for a long time, and finally found myself in a situation to get one. 350/350, factory air, all original (except for the paint) 2-owner truck. Lived its whole life with the same family in Utah. Amazingly solid rig, and should make into a neat tow vehicle for our '75 Airstream Argosy 22. I think I'm starting with good raw material, and I'm sure you good folks will help me with the inevitable questions.
By the way, my name is Ryan. Nice to meet ya. |

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!
Ha! No, John. It's not a Pennsy truck. I'm actually working in New Mexico, and "Earl" came from Utah. Trust me, I know what our weather and road salt do to these trucks. Which is why I thought I should shop for one while I'm in the southwest.
The price difference for a clean truck down here compared to up home is remarkable too... scarcity and demand drives price and all that. Thanks for the welcome everyone. Ryan |

That's a 69 two wheel drive big block. To rusty to spend any time or money on. Saving for parts.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!
Quick pic of my 70.
Switched out some of the tired original parts with items like a 700r4 trans, tilt column, 72 brakes, 70 Blazer front buckets, 2nd & 3rd row seats from a wrecked 72. Need to do a few more things before it'll be back on the road. Posted via Mobile Device Posted via Mobile Device Posted via Mobile Device
