Re: Post your C/L - Facebook finds for everyone to enjoy!
Even 4500 depends on how much of the truck he actually has.
To me the Jag front end if it is XJ is a far better way to go than a Camaro stub No sheetmetal hacking to get it to fit and you barely know that It is there visually when you look in the engine compartment. If I had the cash I'd buy it LS3 Subframe and all, Clean up the subframe and sell it to a Camaro freak, put the Truck together so that it looked like something and put it up for sale and put the LS3 and trans in my ot car that I want to do an LS swap on.

Re: Post your C/L - Facebook finds for everyone to enjoy!
I actually sold my 48 in 1974 to buy a 56 Big window and then couldn't make a deal on the big window and ended up buying the 57 Panel with the 327 in it that I traded back for the 48 in 1975.
Right now, I need to get my 77 squared away and put it up for sale and then get my 71 running and driving so it can haul stuff for the other projects.

Just like this ad...as was already mentioned, you could just buy this, assemble it, and then sell it for a profit. Then take that profit and do that again a couple times. It all just takes time. If you have the time, you can get your Task Force for free. I've towed home a few projects that needed some TLC to get running, get functional, etc, and then sold them to an excited new owner so they can take it from there. It was fun, I rescued a truck from some nowhere town, and I made enough to buy more parts for my project. Probably minimum wage, but heck, I liked it!

Re: Post your C/L - Facebook finds for everyone to enjoy!
2012 my wife was prusing through Craigslist and found this bad boy. I believe the town was Rome, GA that it was located, so after a few calls we hooked up the trailer and headed south. this picture is it sitting in my back yard after we returned to Indiana.
The 2nd picture (in gray) is how she looks today. Hot Rod flat gray urethane paint from Eastwood.

As first dog Tag used to say that one is a bit Ruff but it is a 55 second series short panel .
Those rigs can be fun and pretty practical though.

Re: Post your C/L - Facebook finds for everyone to enjoy!
In the Bonney Lake Wa area at a reasonable price. Early 90's split bench for 100.
These fit great in 67/72 truck. I have one in my 71.

Re: Post your C/L - Facebook finds for everyone to enjoy!
OK don't hurt the messanger on this one. 54 5 window cab and little else you want to keep but the price isn't outrageous. I may have to see if they are looking for anything I can trade. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...type=top_picks

Re: Post your C/L - Facebook finds for everyone to enjoy!
I've got 54 frame to set it on and lots of parts that could make into a decent cab and rolling chassis. The nose = patch panel material.

Re: Post your C/L - Facebook finds for everyone to enjoy!
That's his asking price, give him about three weeks and the sale price will be more reasonable or someone who needed the 54 5 window cab will have made a deal on it. I'd try to trade something for it anyhow.

Re: Post your C/L - Facebook finds for everyone to enjoy!
What a mongrel, it is probably making some ford guys wince too.
Good yard art if you could stomach looking at it every day: the people that stopped and stared, likely they know their old trucks. I think that cab is cooked: needs rebuilding the cowl, the rear body seam is suspect and that white cracking paint probably covers some serious body filler. But for the price there is some stuff there. |

Re: Post your C/L - Facebook finds for everyone to enjoy!
LG, you think there may be filler on there somewhere? lol. check out the seam where the hood would normally fit against the fender at the rear. oops, something fell off there, haha. must be a flip front end I guess. I wonder whats with the paint cracking all over the whole thing. maybe a bad mix with too much somethingorother in it.

Got another winner for ya, gents!!
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...6177667263450/ From the ad: "1959 Apache fleet side 32 pickup. Been sitting in family garage since 2004.clearly not original. Currently isn’t running. All running gear is there. Kinda of a rat Rod thing going on. Please don’t pepper this ad with a bunch of ridiculous questions. It’s a clean title and pics speaks for itself. Like to get $1800. For the truck.located off 66th and Columbia in Portland please don’t message “is it still available “ I will not respond. It’s still available if it’s still up. Truck has a 235 6 cylinder motor. It’s a total project truck for a person with passion for these old trucks."
