Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer
Thanks guys glad you like it. My mom is getting around well. Still using a walker but getting better everyday. Got a call from the Dr today and they stated that cancer was skin cancer that started on her leg. They are going to biopsy the lymph nodes on the other side to make sure she is clear of cancer. So looks like we may have dodged a bullet only time will tell. Thank you for asking

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer
Ok so Jimmy and I started the brake lines and air lines last week. The air lines are all -4an fittings 1/4 inch stainless and the brake lines are 3/16 stainless with -3an fittings. I used single billet specialties clams and the double clamps are from earls. let me know what you guys think.

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer
It's one thing to bend lines, but running lines in parallel like that demands a lot more precision because of the different bend radii, with different start/end points . Really cool to see that level of detail.

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer
If you look close on the air lines near the bag they don't look even but they are, I don't have the lines all tight and clamped. I have gone through two different 37 degree tube flaring tools. I am sick of this cheep Chinese crap tools. So I bought the mastercool flaring tool last night. I]t was pricey but worth it.

No it will be a little lighter and flatter then that. I was going to do it that color at first but I changed my mind.
Thanks Al |

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer
Wow all that line work looks incredible. Attention to detail is off the charts on this build. Wish I had the patience and know how to do that to mine, but it probably would have added another couple of years to my build
