Re: What did you do to your truck today part III
Put rear wheel cylinders on the 66. Set the distributor in the 62 and tried on the valve covers my wife bought me for Father's Day. Hope to get the 62 started this weekend.

Pappyx4, that engine looks great! Doesn't progress feel good? I got the under-hood wiring partly done.

I really like the color you choose for that 6 cylinder! Wiring is coming along too, you'll have that truck on the road before you know it.

Sum 4016 is the kit that is on my truck currently. Sum 4017 is the one I will probably switch to. Hope this helps!

Spent time with the family, smoked a chicken, made a patch for my bed, had a few beers, had some wild turkey 101, enjoyed life!

Finished all the wire crimps for everything in front of the firewall. Final wrap to protect the wires will come later. Wired and installed the hood turn signals too.

Re: What did you do to your truck today part III
A busy weekend.
Today It was off to Hamstreet with Nicola and Martin on the bikes to a bike show and auto jumble. Followed by a run up the M20 to Wateringbury near Maidstone for another car and bike show, which was more of an excuse for a huge party and tons of Harley's together together. Home by about 4pm and swopped bike and truck about. Martins Eddie Lawson Replica 1100cc Kawasaki behind Nicola who was being a clown all day, when we were filling up this morning. Nicola snapped this pic of me headed to the Swapmeet...... She said I looked like a man on a mission. Wearing Clem's party shirt from last year. My bargain of the day........ Been looking for something heavy duty like these for some time, found them on a traders stand at the bike swap meet. Managed to get a deal on 10 of them, 4 for my truck and 6 for Martins long bed to tie his V-Rod down once the truck is completed. Paid £3.20 each in stead of £4.00 each. Once countersunk and bolted down with countersunk head bolts in the rear bed, it will make the truck even more useful. Little by little the bits are coming together.

Re: What did you do to your truck today part III
I gave my truck a black eye! (Installed my grille and lights today, I found that somehow I only sandblasted one of the headlight bezels and the other was still black - so I installed it this way just for the pic . . . .).

Shook My kid up at 4:20 and drove home from LA in the Truck. That was about 400 miles. This is the only picture I got from the Brothers Truck Show.

Re: What did you do to your truck today part III
Got the hood, grill support and both inner fenders back from the media blaster. Then proceeded to spray out the pieces with epoxy primer. Now I remember why I don't do painting.
