Re: Dragndoorhandle
I got the frame back from powdercoating last week and I put all the suspension on it and also the cab. Im having one of my boys redo the 355 with a ton of new stuff, roller rockers, dist, h2o pump ect. The motor and tranny with the 2500 stall should be in by Friday. Then I have to get the drive shaft done which takes a half a day. Get the exhaust ran and have a fab shop break a tranny tunnel and d/s tunnel Bolt a seat in it and try to make the trip. If I break down I have another guy that said he would be watin on stand by with a trailer. I hope I can make it there. MR Wilt said there is allways a burnout and drag fest @ the motel 6 so well see what happens. Weither the truck will drive or not Ill have it there. Probably at the Killer Kustoms area.

Re: Dragndoorhandle
I got the tranny tunnel finished today. The motor and tranny are in it and the motor is 80% done. Just need to bolt a few more things on and it will be ready to fire. On the ****ter side when I went to put my headers on today, I found that there is about a 1/16 of an inch clearance from the fire wall. I will be working that over tomarrow morning. Then back to Bonified customs to put the bed on, then monday to the exhaust shop. Then to the junk yard to get a seat, and then...and then.... and then.....

Re: Dragndoorhandle
Looks good. Did you bend that up yourself or did someone do it for you?

Re: Dragndoorhandle
A buddy of mine bent it on a 100 ton accurshear break. This thing is crazy, digital controls you name it. I drew out what I wanted and he blasted it out in no time. The hardest part was the pieces on the fire wall, thoes took a minute to get done. I just got back from bonified customs where I was redoing the air compressor setup, but at 2am there was no place to get 1/2 in brass T fittings. I should be done with the truck by friday, I hope

Re: Dragndoorhandle
FUUU$$$$$$$$$$$K I dont know if Ill drive it there, but Ill tow it and then drive around at INDY. I got all the sheet metal on and the engine fired up @ 1 AM. The guy at the exhaust shop fuc#ed up so I got straight pipe to the rear of the cab. I might drive to JEGS tomarrow to get 2 new ones and I still need a seat ant to mount the lokar tranny dip stick, b&m shifter and bolt down the air setup. As long as I can start it Ill be there. The fu#kin bed sides need cut down 1 in, the are bowed out BAD when I lay it out and I nee to cut the inner fender lips so I can stear this pig,. Ill try to post some pics tomarrow.

Re: Dragndoorhandle
Its close. The pic you were looking at, the bed was not bolted down and when I aired it out the bed alked back. I need to cut 1.5 in off the bottoms of the bed. The sides are rollin in BAD right now when I let the air out.

saw your truck at bash and wanted to talk to you but i wasn't sure which one was you. looks even better in person. one question what headers are you running? if i had the right ones i would of been at the show but i didn't like how much i had to cut out of mine and i didn't want to go with open headers.
