I remember looking at this thread a couple years ago. Still makes me sad.

Re: Look at this... One mans collection rotting into ground...

This is a crazy old thread! Man that guy reminds me of me....well a little, I have my own stash of old chevys waiting on restoration (more like 2 cars and 4 trucks). For one reason or another i always make an excuse not to work on them. I actually kinda understand how it can happen, time really flys by you. I started messing with these old trucks in 1986.

With them new homes in the background I'm sure it's only a matter of time and I'm sure it's already been happening, The complaints with the new homeowners, not in my back yard and the builders promises to get the matter cleared. My wife thinks I'm a pessimist but that's New Jersey for you. Look at what happened to the tiger lady after 33 years, and no incidents, but a new development.

How to find the site:
Google Pitman,NJ
Click on the map,
switch to Satellite,
there is a lot of white roofs on those trucks,
you'll find the site with a keen eye.

WOW! Great collection. I hope something good has happened to these jewels. That guy is one of us although he wasnt able to get to a fraction of what he collected. I like him already. He must've just got old, and I'll bet his kids will be selling at some point, if not already. Here's a heads up for those who dont know....there's a guy in tennessee(Knoxville)that IS selling and he has 70-plus trucks. He is at tnchev.com....he's got some savers, so go save 'em!
