Re: 67-72 short box 4x4 trucks...
I missed this thread somehow... Here's mine pre-teardown. I looked all over the northeast for a SWB 4x4 fleet, this one ended up being 1/2 mile from my house sitting in someone's back yard for years. It looks quite different present day, hoping to have it finished for summer 2014.

Ikester- that is a sweet truck, I like the clearance lights. You've got to get some pictures of that color on the sun!

kester- That is one clean looking truck! Man thats awesome. Is that stock suspension?? Trying to find some ideas for my build. Haven't decided if I want to do a lift on it or not. Kind of leaning toward stock. Anyhow great looking rig!

Just curious… Are those 33X10.5-15 or 33X12.5-15 tires?

Re: 67-72 short box 4x4 trucks... lets see pics
Here is my girl
Quick question Does anybody make an all spring 2" or 2.5" lift for 67? All the kits I find have rear block or only fit back to 69. ikester - your truck is moving along pretty quick since the last pictures I saw.

Re: 67-72 short box 4x4 trucks... lets see pics
My 1972 gmc sierra short wide k10...i've had it for awhile wanting to start a resto on it but got a kid getting ready to head to college soon so i'm just getting it road worthy and plan on enjoying it this summer. It is a factory black truck but it looks as though the 80's were a goodtime for the old girl with the sweet paint job. I picked her up for $650 off of a local classified in town (ok stole her) she had the GM 8 track player that i sold the same week for 800 on the board. Fairly well optioned truck with tilt,tach,3.73 gears, bucket seats and tow hooks listed on the SPID, wood bed,. It turns out my Uncle is good friends with the original owner so im gunna look him up and see if he has the tow hooks in his garave somewhere as they were not on it when i got it...

Acquired this one on a trade. Originally a US. Truck and has had a few owners in Canada. It's kind of a Frankenstein. Registered as a 1968, 67 cab and frame, 68 front end. 8" lift, 35x15 R15 swampers.

Re: 67-72 short box 4x4 trucks... lets see pics
Reposting my '70 K10 because I just finished installing new front & rear Skyjacker springs and shocks (3" lift with 1" zero-rate spring). I finished it off with BFG tires and powder coated Rally wheels. I restored the rally centers by stripping off the paint because there's chrome underneath. I also installed new 3" trim rings.
