this car is awesome!!! i would totally rock it but kind of a boat to be a DD. great looking job though and especially for the money you have into it!

thats one of the main reasons i don't like using my truck as a DD cause its a long bed. My next build will prob. be a shortbed (easier to park) with a modern drive train & some modern touches to use as a true DD.

Nate: Why do you need a welder when you have such a pretty truck? Do you have another project going? I should have my miller 135 in the next week or so. I am pretty excited to learn.

I use gas and honestly flux is a waste of time.(crappy AND ugly welds) Much better in my opinion to spend the extra money and go with 75/25 gas right from the start.

Get that truck cut apart so next time I'm in KC I can give you a few pointers on rockers/floor replacements!

Eh... I might have a few things up my sleeve.

BTW... are you buying your Miller new? If so, what kind of rate should I expect to pay for one? I've had Miller's highly recommended, but I figured with name I would pay a much higher price.

dude if you look at the upper right corner of the front door toward the rear..top.. Is that the grim reaper..looking at everyone?

And if you look at the fireball..it looks like a dragon..facing left..breathing fire..

I installed the bumpers, weather stripping, and some more interior pieces today. I'll post some pictures tomorrow.

Wow, haven't seen this thread in a while -- you've made awesome progress. Looks great. Are you gonna run the S10 wheels long-term? With some center caps they'd be a cool alternative to vette rallies.
