I liked that truck. Somebody got a good deal -- how many miles did she have?

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
I stand corrected; somebody got a great deal.
And determined1, your truck is awesome. I like how you kept the ribs in the bed floor, even over the hump.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
first, thanks for all the comments guys. im not gonna lie i didnt build it, it was purchased that way. but i need somewhere to put a motorcycle. i was highly surprised to see the bed done that way. most bagged trucks have the bed hacked to hell.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
It's really cool to see trucks from outside North America, but your truck really has much more in common with the '73-'87 trucks sold here than the '88-'98 trucks. You might post over there. Those guys would love it.

Maybe it's just me but it looks like it has a lot in common with the mid nineties bronco. looks nice though.

While the overall look does scream "early '90s Ford," if you look closely at the windshield and door windows and the gauge cluster, you can clear see the shapes of the '73-'87 body trucks. Also notice that they even get 6-lug versions of our beloved 454SS/Sport wheels. |

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
them might have a chevy emblem on them, but that's a ford body for sure.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
It may look like it, but I don't think so. I think that's a South American body all its own.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
looks nothing like chevy to me looks just like a ford body.
Onl thing other then the inside, wheels or the emblem that looks like chevy is the roof only and windshield maybe and like mentioned more like 73-87 but the lower body is ford all the way. Looks just like the 90 and older fords.

Nope. Not an Isuzu. It's based on our '73-'87s.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
My '88 working a little......
And I had to add this 'one-off' Top Kick, built by my friend, to haul his little turbine powered beastie. There was no company back then making conversions. ( note the rear fender skirts, to clean up the large gap above the rear tire) Last edited by mountie; 06-24-2011 at 07:09 PM. |
