I also put a 80's c10 crossmember in and it was easy.

I followed what this guy did and it worked out awesome. Very straight forward and way easier than swapping frames and dealing with all the mount relocations. Mostly, I had to drill 2 holes to locate (upper ouside, one on each side) and wallow out the other 4 on the vertical sides of frame and wallow out the 6 on the horizontal parts of the frame. Everything is seen on his video. Worked like a charm. He even shows how to do the PS conversion bracket and the Captain Fab booster mount. His videos are great.

Re: '60-'66 Body On A '73-'87 Frame
Not sure if this was mentioned, but the 73-91 Suburban Frame is a much better fit, it does not kick up under the cab...and wheelbase is close to our longbox ....they even make a kit to use this chassis, EZ chassis swaps in Minnesota makes it. I am surprised there is not more discussion on this.

Re: '60-'66 Body On A '73-'87 Frame
Here's a video that does a good comparison between the 67-72 and the 73+. Remember, the frame of the 67-72 are very similar to the 63-66.
