Re: SLOSH TUBZ SQUARED... sneak peek
Thanks for the nice words mike, it was cool to run across you and chip at the show. I gave your card to my buddy I sure he will be calling soon. As for the Hood struts not my idea I saw it somewhere and modified it to work on my truck, but it works very well for bagged squares. Hey mike if you have an extra t shirt send it my way and I'll push the tubzs here in Oklahoma for you! Lol

Re: SLOSH TUBZ SQUARED... sneak peek
What about hood hinge interference with the 73-80 fenders?
Or can they be trimmed enough to clear?

Re: SLOSH TUBZ SQUARED... sneak peek
i think the 73-80s are going to recquire something more like the ones PB makes for the 67-72's not sure on those ? any ideas ? The last time i talked to Porter about it he said he was planning on making something for them but i dont know if he has yet ?

Re: SLOSH TUBZ SQUARED... sneak peek
I have never seen the struts on a pre 81 truck, I am sure there is a way to do it just have not tried to do it myself. Sorry!

Re: SLOSH TUBZ SQUARED... sneak peek
i think what he is talking about is that the 73-80's dont have the cowl mounted part of the hinge that the 81-87s have , the 73-80's are more like the 67-72's the complete hinge bolts on the inside of the fender

Re: SLOSH TUBZ SQUARED... sneak peek
Alot of that tucks up under the fender from this view it doesnt look quite as wide, especially if you are running a narrowed front track, i think once painted and with everything in the engine compartment they wont look so HUGE ! LOL

Re: SLOSH TUBZ SQUARED... sneak peek
I think the size of them looks kinda cool under the hood, keeps it more of a factory look for sure! These will definitely keep a lot of road grime and such out of the engine bay!

Re: SLOSH TUBZ SQUARED... sneak peek
any chance on getting a set that dont have all the indentations on the face? or that cover 100% of the opening? If so Ill take a set, otherwise I gotta build my own.

Re: SLOSH TUBZ SQUARED... sneak peek
No but the indentations are down low on the bottom of the firewall ! I am considering doing a full coverage version at a layer point !

Re: SLOSH TUBZ SQUARED... sneak peek
What do these clear on the firewall side of things? To be specific, what must be removed?
