Re: Sigshooter's 1965 C10
My mom had this old picture of my sister, she was born in september of 1964. In the background is my grandpa's 1965 p/u in its new state.

Re: Sigshooter's 1965 C10
Just picked up on your build and obviously your mums fight.
I do hope that there is more light ahead for you, and that the chemo makes a difference. Love your build so far and the detail you share. Hang in there.

Re: Sigshooter's 1965 C10
we went over to tahlequah to enjoy the carshow at the Red Fern Festival. met up with sigshooter and his wife. sig is one of the host members and drove his project truck down to the event. he is in the process of converting to big back glass and piecing his interior back together. wish i could have seen him driving to the show... grin a mile wide, bugs all in his teeth.
there were about 6-8 trucks of our vintage and the festival was a blast. thanks for having us Bobby. |

Re: Sigshooter's 1965 C10
Well, It has been about 6 months since my last post so I thought I better let everyone know I am still around. Mom is still fighting the cancer but as you can tell by the picture the cancer is winning. She was back in the hospital last week and is very very weak.
The truck hasn't gone anywhere since the car show in April, I start it and move it every now and then. I have not had time to work on it, taking care of mom and work is where my time has been spent. I think I will put the glas back in it and just drive it some before winter sets in. Clem's cruise in is coming up and I always enjoy that, I get motivated when I see all the trucks. I get on here occasionally and just see what everyone is doing.

Re: Sigshooter's 1965 C10
Wow, can't believe it has been almost 2 years since I posted to the forum!
Well we sold our home of 20 years last December and bought a different place in January, last weekend I had my truck hauled to the new house and after sitting for 7 months under my father in laws carport it cranked over 4 or 5 times and fired right up! I drove it around the neighborhood some and put it in the garage. The new house has an oversized 2 car garage so I will be able to work on it in the garage until I get a shop built. Hopefully you will start seeing some activity on this thread again soon!
