Re: Meet Betty 72 GMC
Cut off the very heavy and ill-fit bumper today. I wonder if I can just bolt on the roll pan?

Re: Meet Betty 72 GMC
I've never installed a roll pan before so can't help you there but that big bumper being gone really cleans up the back a lot already.

Re: Meet Betty 72 GMC
Those pipes will have to be modified to put on the roll pan. I have a new bed that will go on first! I will order a tilt wheel next week. That I feel I can tackle!

Re: Meet Betty 72 GMC
Got a leak fixed today with a new hose and clamps! I bought two doors and a steering tilt column but I will wait till next week to start taking the truck apart. As for now I am having too much fun driving it!

Tomorrow I am going to pick up a set of matching doors tommorrow at 6am. They are better than what I have but still need work. At least they will look similar!

Love your build thread! Great pictures! Looking forward to the progress. You obviously have a good eye so I'm sure the truck will turn out great.

I pulled out my column today and got stuck with a wiring issue. The plug in the new column is vastly different and will not mate up. Long day. A also revoved the old clutch pedal.

Re: Meet Betty 72 GMC
You'll get it worked out and once you do it'll be all worth it. Photography must either be related to you job or a hobby your quite passionate about. You take some real good pictures. One of my favorite pictures is Betty and Sally. I look at that one all the time.
