To each their own I suppose! If it was more of a hot rodded truck I would definitely consider it a no no, but having that sort of old farm truck vibe I think it fits the personality. The good news is that I'll keep the regular fender in case I ever wake up one morning and wonder what the heck was I thinking.

Yes sir, if you go up a few posts you will see that I have a spare mounted in the bed right now. It is a genuine '56 GM wheel as well. That is the ONE that I was able to find before you came to my rescue

Oh yes, I see. I'm not really sure what the sidemount bracket for these trucks looks like, hope you find one!

I took mine off and Think I still have the bracket in the barn. If I have it its your, just pay the shipping. I will check today and get back to you in a few minutes.

Thank you very much for the offer!! Ironically the guy I bought the fender from called me today and told me he was cleaning his shop and found the bracket!

Will I love your truck. I wonder if you can help me. I love those 56 hubcaps you have. Is there any new wheel that Wheel Vintiques make that it would fit on. I like those hubcaps and I would like to put them on a 15x8 wheel with 5 x 4 3/4" bolt pattern. Do you have any pictures of the wheel surface itself and the backside of the hubcap?
