In the front, our '57 Buick has a one-year-only front suspension design that no parts are available for, sloppy recirculating ball steering, and crummy drum brakes. It should be a drastic transformation from a ride and handling standpoint. We are 30 minutes away, so pictures shall be coming soon.

Re: Bride of Young Frankenstein - 1957 Buick Super
Hello again. My dad forgot to pack the card reader for our camera, so we have not been able to post the pictures promised. I, however, took a picture on my phone, as we are driving down the road, and shall post it for y'all now.Attachment 1341610
TADAAAAAAAAA! One of us will post more pictures once we get home in about 6.5/7 hours. So long until then.

Re: Bride of Young Frankenstein - 1957 Buick Super
Yes, I have read his blog on the HAMB and another one about a 57 Oldsmobile proving to me that it is possible to pull off. Unfortunately they don't go into much detail and a lot of the pictures posted won't load now, but I'm sure we can figure it out.

Re: Bride of Young Frankenstein - 1957 Buick Super
On the road photos from moonlit Connecticut.
94 XJ-S with the V-12 engine, 42,000 miles, zero damage or issues, just hasn't run since 1998! It seems that the original owner went to jail and stored it in his parents backyard. Somehow he never came back for it and recently the city made them clean up the back yard. It popped up on Craigslist a few weeks back for $1500, and I figure surely I can part it out and possibly break even.

Drew, do you use a different site to search Craigslist near and far?

YES !!! Searchtempest.com is a nationwide Craigslist search aggregator. It works incredibly well, it would be impossible to search each city manually.

I thought you would own your own trailer. What's the inside scoop? Unlimited U-haul gift card? Ha. Seriously,... this is a COOL project!!!

I have found that owning a trailer is more trouble than they are worth unless you use it a lot . I sold mine and dont regret it .

The Jag thinks he's died and gone to heaven being inside my warm and dry garage. Jokes on him though when we cut his arms and legs off to suspend our Buick!!!!!

A rare sighting in the garage, the Mrs. at work on the Buick - look at that pile of dirt from the passenger cowl vent! Fakhry tearing down the Jag.
