Re: Speedtech's Pro Touring C10 Project
Here's a cool feature- we made some tow/tie down brackets that bolt to the lower trailing arm bracket. Note the bracket has 3 positions for easy adjusting of the instant center.

Re: Speedtech's Pro Touring C10 Project
With the truck finished on a Saturday evening we loaded it into a trailer with our Super Chevy Suspension and Handling Challenge contender '68 Nova to head to California the next morning.
At the event on Monday, on non-sticky everyday street tires with no real tuning other than a quick shock adjustment, right out of the box the truck was faster than the test bed 2015 Z06 Corvette through the slaloms. They also let us a run a few shakedown laps on the road course however because it wasn't competing in the challenge we don't have official lap times to report. Jay, our driver, said it easily hung with the Nova we brought which was right on pace with the other contenders. Thanks to Super Chevy magazine, the shake down laps gave us some good feedback and you'll see the results of some tuning at upcoming Goodguys events. As of today the truck should be tearing it up at the Goodguys in Loveland CO and will do so for the weekend. Stay tuned to the build thread for an up coming photo shoot and race results.

Re: Speedtech's Pro Touring C10 Project
Thanks fellas!
We're really excited about where things are going. Speedtech will have a booth at SEMA, # 72004, however the truck will be outside rather than inside with the booth. We will have a C10 frame on display at the booth. Some of the crew took the C10 to the Goodguys event in Loveland CO last weekend. First time on an official autocross it took 1st place overall in the truck category and was hanging with most of the faster cars. This is with street tires and no major tuning on the right off the shelf parts. On Sunday it smoked many of the late model cars who were running on sticky tires. Goodguys put on a great event, we had a good time, and the trophy is REALLY cool. The shakedown runs were helpful, we want to experiment with sway bar rates a little more for upcoming events. We may even slap on a set of road race slicks left over from an old project and see what it's real potential is at an upcoming SCCA event. Overall things are looking fantastic for our truck and the future of the C10 ExtReme suspension!

Re: Speedtech's Pro Touring C10 Project
Thanks again. Yes the truck will be at SEMA, our booth number is 72004.
Updates- We recently sent the converter out to loosen it up a bit for better launches and picked up some 315 and 335 18" BFG Rival S' that we'll trow on a set of shop wheels to l see what it'll do on some stickier tires!

Re: Speedtech's Pro Touring C10 Project
Truck turned out amazing! Are those headers now in production? I wonder if they would work with my setup.
