Re: Finally my 49 s10 frame swap ls1/t56

Finished partial mock up of down pipe installed cross-over pipe and wastegate dump tube, removed front grill to finally align the fenders and do the brackets for radiator support. Once that is done I’ll use 3.5” hole saw on lower rear of fender gif the down pipe exit and finish that off with support brackets and hangers. Also intercooler mounting and pipe routing coming up

Coming along nicely! That looks bad-ass! I'm too much of a wuss (cheapskate?) to run a turbo.

Thanks, For sure gets expensive good thing I’m doing all the work myself or that would add an extra cost I did cheap out running mostly eBay parts tho 😂

Re: Finally my 49 s10 frame swap ls1/t56

Had forgot to mention that I got engine running prior to deciding to just turbo instead of going all motor, I noticed the 706 heads I had installed had the infamous casting crack or bad casting and passenger head was spotless and had coolant build up so removed heads got a new set ended up doing trunion kit up grade ls7 lifters pac 1219 springs ls9 5 layer head gaskets and sloppy stage 2 cam. Forget what heads I ended up picking up 802 I think got resurfaced and engine went back together. Name: 316D3AE2-6C66-4165-B400-5603AADD0098.jpg

ive never worked with 3d printed parts, how much heat can they handle? is the plastic filament expensive, like how much filament would it take to build one of your spacers?

You would have to use abs filament or one of the other filaments high heat resistant, I bought a 2 lb roll for like 20$ and been making A lot of stuff and I’m barely hitting half way if that even been making a lot of action figures for my son they have a lot of super mario files with move able parts so he enjoying the printer more than I am but I did see they have the radio delete plate file to print so I might print that and drill holes for switches or just have for replacement
