Didn't get a picture of the white going on but here's masked and first coat of the Verde going down on these parts.

Re: 69 Olive Verde
Here's remasked for clear and then all done. Clear laid out great even on the rocker jamb. Still tons of work to do but this was a great milestone.

I've decided to reshoot the hood and tailgate just a few color stripes I can see at certain angles are driving me nuts so going to hopefully get the final painting done this week and then start cut and buff in the following week. Really wish the pictures showed the yellow tones in the colors.

Re: 69 Olive Verde
Hood sanded and ready for do over.
On another note trying to decide on how to do the door striker and latch. Any input? Black, shiny, chrome, painted, powder coated? Ideas anyone

Re: 69 Olive Verde
I would powdercoat them satin black but that is my preference

Re: 69 Olive Verde
That's where I was leaning but might going gloss black.
I'm going to see the powder coater in the morning and hopefully come up with something. Or should I just color match them...hmm

Re: 69 Olive Verde
Parts are showing up like crazy again. Spare room is parts storage now. I am actually spraying the hood and gate right now and this next week after buff I hope the body can start going back on. Going to continue to get as much done over the next few weeks as possible because come December I will have to put the whole project on hold as it is my busy time of year.

Hood and gate ready for polish. Last of the small pieces back from blasting today so should get color on them this weekend and keep on rolling.

Re: 69 Olive Verde
It was a productive day. painted the last few pieces today. Got the hood and cab cut and polished. Pulled the chassis out of storage and sprayed sound deadening under the cab then put it on and cleaned up everything. Going to start wiring lay out this week.
