Re: Brother's keeper - '58 Stepside build
In addition to installing the floor liner, I finished metalworking the fender patches and straightened out the garage.

Re: Brother's keeper - '58 Stepside build
I bought an aftermarket dome light and that lens was on it. It was the only part of the light I used, the rest of it was so cheesy and cheap that I opted to polish up the original base and convert it to LED

Re: Brother's keeper - '58 Stepside build
The harbor freight cabinet job works pretty good. I bought one for the rebuild and then I juts resold it for basically what I paid for it to a neighbor doing the same thing... its just a sand blower!

Re: Brother's keeper - '58 Stepside build
I love those SW gauges, I used to have those in my '55 Belair when I was a teenager. I thought it would be cooler to put some cheap newer gauges, now I wish I still had those SW's!! Now I'm going to have to spend big money for the new SW's!! Beautiful truck!!

Re: Brother's keeper - '58 Stepside build
Been blocking parts so there's not really much to see. While waiting for parts to dry I trial fit the grille surround and front splash apron. The front fenders are still getting some attention, they will go on next...

Working on the driver's side front fender today, hoping to get a skim coat of filler on a few spots and start sanding before the Vikings vs. Saints come on

Re: Brother's keeper - '58 Stepside build
Making steady progress, all of the fenders are almost ready for epoxy and 2K, bedsides are sandblasted, metal worked and the passenger side is skim coated. I'll be out there making more dust tomorrow...
