Super cool. I have the same seat in the same color in my truck.

Love it all the way around.

Re: '68 Patina Short Wide

Started in on the vintage air install today... I mounted up the Kwik compressor mounts and the compressor and it just didn't go with the theme.. so i threw a little black spray paint on it all.. much better now!! i just love this thing... but i hope this AC install doesn't kick my tail....

Re: '68 Patina Short Wide

Finished up the vintage air install... went great.. no issues... highly recommend thier kit!!

Moved on to this little upgrade... NRG quick release steering wheel hub... I used a forever sharp steering wheel (amazon) and it worked great!! I did have to drill and tap the NRG hub for the steering wheel bolt pattern but it was not hard at all!!! Here's a quick video of it, post installation.

Re: '68 Patina Short Wide

Here's a quick video of the QD steering wheel hub as well.

I went with the forever sharp steering wheel, the NRG short hub and the NRG quick release.

Could not be more happy with how it turned out!! I did have to drill and tap the NRG QR for the steering wheel bolt pattern but it was not hard at all... i think it turned out great!! it might not be the best for theft deterrent, but hey, i think it looks wayyy COOL!!!

Here's the links to what I purchased and a quick video showing how it works!

Re: '68 Patina Short Wide

How well did the seat fit, and what did you have to do to get it mounted?

Truck looks great

seat fit like it was made to go in there... no mods to the seat... the front two holes lined up and I had to drill two holes for the back mounting bolts.

***Update****

I've made the hard decision that most of us have to make at some point... She's gone. Sold to a cool cat in Stuart Florida. Maybe she will spend the rest of her days cruising the beaches and sipping that cool ocean air.

Congrats. Was the new owner a board member? Will we see it again?
