my truck as so low and the original angle of the shocks would not allow me to run tail pipes up and over the rear, thats why i changed mine...

and i didnt notch my frame because the pumpkin would hit the bed wood first.. i just bolted some rubber pads to the frame so it wouldn't be metal to metal contact, and ran gas shocks.... it would hardly ever hit, and rode pretty darn good...
