Re: My Crew Cab Short Bed Project, AKA "Project Destiny"

Glad you made it Joe! Hope you're getting settled in and all that.

And, the local weather:

Quote:
FIRE DANGER concerns will increase today as gusty south winds re-enter the forecast. Highs should reach the low/mid 80s with lots of sunshine! Lows tonight will likely range in the mid 50s to near 60 with a few clouds.

A significant severe weather event may be possible across eastern Oklahoma tomorrow afternoon/evening. We'll be monitoring this system very closely over the next 24 hours, but as of now it appears we'll see a threat for damaging winds, large hail, and even tornadoes. Stay tuned to FOX23 or FOX23.com for the latest on tomorrow's severe weather threat.

After that system moves through, expect cooler air and gusty west-northwest winds to move in for Friday. Latest guidance does favor a beautiful weekend with sunshine and highs in the 60s Saturday and 70s on Sunday!

This is still America, no celsius here

And speaking of Squarebanks...
I'm sitting here waiting to board a plane to go there.
I didn't realize it's still that cold up there.

Barely. "I can see Russia from my backyard!"

25 degrees is too dang cold for me. I'm heavily insulated, but I don't think it would be enough for that. What part of Alaska are you in, Joe?

Yeah it's still winter. I finally took my hubs out yesterday for the first time since October. It was in the 40's last week, but now, brrrrrrrrr.

Good luck with the house search.

I just called a couple friends and some family in the Anchorage area to see if I could help you out. Nobody has any residential property for rent, only commercial stuff. Sorry I couldn't help.
