Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II

Its still a work in progress, but here are a few of my favorites so far.

Here's one with my helper in the foreground:

Just finished dropping the front down last weekend

Tommy,

I "cupped" the lower control arms so the airbags would sit down inside them. It really brought the front down a lot.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II

I bought the 1/4 plate steel at the scrap yard for a few bucks and got the 8" pipe from work for free. So it really only cost me my time.

It took me about 4 hours to do both sides.

Thanks RINC, I like your 72' as well! Big light blue trucks definitely catch an eye or two, and its nice being able to drive it all faded without worrying about getting scratches on a fancy paint-job!

Soon to be white! I'm absolutely crazy about this truck, and trying to convince him to keep it as Original as possible! Call me old school but these trucks are a bit more rare than the square body Chevys! (70s&80s) that come a Dime a Dozen and I'd hate to see it off road!

That's the original grille that came with it in 1969! Not a ding on it! You don't see many of these old chevy 4x4's here in Arizona, especially not in GREAT condition! Rivers and humidity really take its toll on me!
