Saw these two at the Chattanooga Hot Rod Power Tour stop today. There were a couple more there, but these are the two I got a pic of.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!

Just bought a 70 C20! It was redone back in 2003 and then it sat for 10 years. It's got a factory 396 and it runs great! I hope to have it on the road later this week after I redo the brakes and do a mechanical check on it.

Nice Burb. Did you find it in Aberta. I scour Kijiji et al daily looking for a Burb and probably would have bought yours if I had seen it advertised?

Thanks! And yes, I found it in Edmonton. I do the same thing looking on kijiji every day checking for deals on classics and I missed this one until I typed "suburban" in the key word search and realized I had missed it for over a week.

I search Alberta too and guess I must have missed this one. It looks like a great find.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!

Better pic.. Took her out for a test drive after an oil change and topping up all the fluids.
She has more power than I'm used to in my other Chevys, but then again, this is also my first big block. If I keep my foot down, she chirps into 2nd gear and then nice and firm into 3rd, but if I start off like a grandma it won't go into 3rd even at high speed. Come to think of it, I didn't check the tranny fluid..

No tranny problem. Vacuum line had come off.

OK, this is mine. I just finished the 72 Blazer CST, the 70 GMC Short Wide last year and next month the Suburban is my next project: GMC 2500, 402/400, front and rear air, aux tank. 16.5" rubber!!

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!

My 1969 Suburban I picked up a couple months ago. Was told by last owner it is a 3 owner car with 78,356 original miles. Has been up graded with fresh 350 with 700R4 OD trans, 10 bolt rear end, PS/PB/ (discs front & drum rear), has factory air converted to R134 front and rear, newer 3 seat setup. I am real happy with it and look forward to making some changes.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!

Took a few extra pic's of the interior layout. I don't know what year the setup came out of, but it works real nice and clean in the 69.

Both front buckets are on sliders (forward & back), Long section of second row is stationary, second row bucket is a slider and it tilts forward, Third row locks into factory brackets that were installed. With the third seat in place you have about 27" storage behind the seat. I removed it for a while as I need the additional room while racing my Nostalgia Dragster.
