Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

replace the wood with some clear acrylic and leave the strips so you can see that awesome frame!! Would have to agree the wood doesn't fit with the rest of the truck. I will keep watching to see what you come up with. thanks for sharing.

The fuel tank is in the bed the original tank was going to be under the bed but changed it so I will shave the door later just not now.

Its not using oak I will use canary wood I am using different center strips the complete center of the bed is plexi. I dont want to use full strip of acrylic it has been done a thousand times once the wood is changed and the strips are changed it will look great but thanks I appreciate your advice

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

First off sorry to hear about your Mom. It sucks to get news like that...

I'll keep her and your family in my prayers too.

The GMC looks like a good starting point. I look forward to you simple build for it. I like the paint as it is. Tell your Dad that it looks cool and that later it can be painted after enjoying it for awhile.

Man you are killing it!! I like the way you signed the cab. That got me thinking about your SPID you could make a custom one with made up codes for the frame, engine etc... make someone look twice at all the options. Just a thought on a over the top build!
