Re: What did you do today not on your truck...

I’m down in Phoenix doing Camaro stuff all weekend. The color or my car is called Aqua Blue Metallic and Gm only made about 3800 of them total and all in the first half of the 2010 model year. They just don’t come up very often. Last night I got together with some good friends who have 2 of more of them. Got some pictures of the three cars together in the dark. Today we are going to Phoenix International Raceway for 10 laps on track in the Camaros at Laps for Charity. After that, a BIG ole car show tonight and then a couple hour cruise tomorrow morning before heading home. I’ll post some more pictures up as the weekend unfolds. First a rare sighting: 3 ABM’s in one sitting!

The smallest and hopefully the last of 3 loads of crapped out electronics headed to the hazardous waste recycling . 8 foot beds can hold a lot more the Rice- a-roni.

The other 2 loads were above the tool box. I may have to go thru some of my stuff, someday , so my kids won't have to go thru all this when I head on.

Been working on our fence on the new property and bought a new tool for the property. Installed a bed mat and some floor mats. Now going to build a rack for the bed.

Re: What did you do today not on your truck...

Nice new tool.

i spent most of the day on the phone with lawyers. Lot's of fun. Not!

Watched the Dodger game. Sorry Atlanta.

I got my new storage container delivered. Time to clear out the garage and see my pool table again. The drywall is almost done. The old garage should look cool again without a bunch of boxes in it.

I got stood up on the Cadillac I wanted. I had the money but the guy was missing in action. No calls back. So no Cadillac. Ticked me off.

So. Some good and some not so good. That's life.

Got most of the barn board off of my barn over the last weekend. My daughter came and helped me. Now maybe it will fall down...

First picture is the South side, second is the North side. I finished it up on Monday & Tuesday.

I didn't feel comfortable going any higher on the South side.

Re: What did you do today not on your truck...

...not on my truck?

OK, how about my BUG.

Had the end of my rear drivers side emergency brake cable snap off and totally destroy the inside of the drum.

Drove it like that for a while, and then my master cylinder just popped and died, so no brakes.

Seeing as how the motor is in back, and I essentially have a gas tank sitting on my lap, figured I better just get to replacing the entire works.

Could be some fun there with one of your trucks with a chain hooked up to that corner post , then you can reach that south end top.

You still need your daughter to help ya take the rest of the boards off it after you pull it down.. that's a lot of wrecking bar/nail pullin ,lumber stacking yet to do..

That will be something watching it come down.. it reminds me of my sis and husband pulling over an old barn about your size barn with their old 59 Chevy pickup .. my sis took an old super 8 movie of being pulled down ,,took awhile to do so ..

I replaced the driver side engine mount on the wife's 4wd Yukon. That was a piece of .... design. I know who the designers work for and it isn't the mechanics who replace them down the line. Rolls eyes

I worked at an Auto assembly plant for several years.

They build everything they can in sub-assembly's.
The dash, frontend, and then the body is set down on the frame.

They don't think about how someone will get to it later

I have no idea about what you refer. Give me a brake

I've been on jury duty since Wed. Today should be the final day. Sorry, no pictures.

I got the stem wall poured a few weeks ago and let it set. This weekend I got the plate bolted down to complete that phase of "Project barn Move". Next will be prop wall, cut bottom off to height of stem wall, and set down on the blocking it will ride on over to it's new perch

Thanks on the place. I'm trying to stay at it till it's all caught up.

So I dug and poured the threshold for the garage door on my tiny garage. Not a priority but now it's ready for when I get a garage door to install. I decided since I can't do the whole slab right now to just do the step-down where the door sits. When we get a heavy rain water would run out of that drain back into the garage where the floor is dug down for the slab and flood it

Lately I forget the rims on toms are not for your knuckle. No reason to stop in the middle of Fleetwood Mac's Dreams however, I think it had enough with Hypnotized and just got worse from there. It's still a runner, must be the adrenaline I was about done anyway.

Personal memory, Dreams was the first song I tried drumming to, what a beautiful tune. Just once, at 14, on my brother's set. He'd have killed me if he knew, and besides, we lived in apts. at the time, I doubt the neighbors appreciated it much. I don't think I played again until I bought my first set at my own place, 8-9 years later.

I can't even imagine drumming in an apartment. I can wear headphones with my guitar. But no way with the drums. Can't turn them down. I get death threats when I play mine.

My neighbors kid was a drummer and my neighbor asked me if the drums bothered me. I said yes because the kid played better than me.
