Those are the same parts as in photo 1 Right.? They cleaned up nice. What are you taking photos with Gregski? I end up with fuzzy can't make out what that is kind of crap.

my old and crappy SE iPhone 5, it never was any good at close ups, and I constantly stop what I'm doing and close the garage door to block the sun in order to take a pic or go outside to find some shade

I always snap two pics of everything Thrifties double pic style

LOL, I did that in my '74 and it keeps me up at night, plus on this one I think the clutch linkage sits funny on the Camaro subframe and it may click and clack as we go down the road, and I really want a clean look, especially in the cabin

I honestly never understood the bench bleed the master cylinder process none, all it do is make a mess when mounting and air gets right back in it, never the less here we go...

we closed her off with the new billet top loaded brake line feeder thingie

I believe I bought the same mc. Quality control....not good. Both reservoirs were very rough, as though there was sand in the casting, they looked terrible. I disassembled the entire unit and used a die grinder etc. to clean it up.

ah man that sux, but I have played the quality part game and the cheap part game, and I have had same or better results with AutoZone or O'Reilly part brands than the name brands - often times it depends on how well you install the part and if you following common sense directions

so picked up some of these Earl's speed bleeder brake valve thingies, man these things were expensive over $60 bucks, but hey what ever keeps the wife on the couch

I believe for my late second gen Camaro (77-81) these are 5/16ths rear and 3/8ths fronts

we do the mandatory stare and compare of the stock ones to the spring ball bearing loaded up ones in the last two photographs

also picked up the I Aint Got No Friends One Man Brake Bleeder Kit 3000, some assembly required

boy you wanna see yer friends scatter just tell them you is doing your brakes this weekend, and all of a sudden they all got Mandatory Wine Tasting field trips they can't get out of

so the rear speed bleeders aka speed thread leakers did not work for us, we got more bypass action than through the hole, and we even tried the just barely crack it open trick rather than the 1/4 turn twist to get them to bleed, so we went back with the stock bleeders in the rear, the front ones worked, so we kept them, I don't like returning parts but for $30 bucks these will be going back, just wanted to share

and a huge thanks to Pontiac Mike who swunged by for the first time in over a year to help a brother out, (we know he really wanted to get out of baby sitting his grandaughter, but shhhh I won't tell)

so the next hurdle to get over is to fab a custom lower bracket for the steering column since the aftermarket one I bought is a joke and an insult to Hot Rodding, I would not install this on my kids Big Wheel it's that flimzy and it doesn't even fit around the steering shaft

of course I had to run to Depot Home twice to get some MIG wire for the spark machine, the first time they put flux core wire in the MIG wire bin, and I didn't bother checking, the second time they were all out of .030 wire until I looked in the .025 bin and found two spools, next time I'm going to LOWE's

note the single bolt hole per side to reduce weight (ok so I was too lazy to drill two holes per side)

made a lower steering column bracket for my late 50s truck / impala steering column

started out by carefully selecting the very first pipe I saw

than we lopped 4" off of it and split it in half... half moons style

then we made fools out of ourselves by tryin to cut a hole in 10 gauge steel with a holesaw powered by a cordless drill, so we called in the heavy artillery aka Ol' Milwaukee

yes I know WD-40 aint cutting oil but that's how they do it on TV
