Re: My Build Story, And I'm Sticking To It!

Well guys, it's been a while since I've posted anything on this thread. I've been driving the hell out of the Blazer having fun. I've decided to go fuel injection on it. I picked this TPI set up recently and was wondering what kind of things to look out for and what parts mix and match the best. I still haven't put the body mounts on yet, but they'll be on itn the spring. I also plan to put on an external swing away tire carrier that I got frm Jaybird. Thanks again Jaybird. I look foward to some input on the TPI.

Has anyone modded a swing out tire carrier to hold a jerry can?

Re: My Build Story, And I'm Sticking To It!

I got inspired today and work on the Blazer. I scored and old school push bar and a swing out tire carrier. I got out this morning and gave the Blazer a facelift. I think it turned out great. Let me know what ya'll think.

Re: My Build Story, And I'm Sticking To It!

Thanks 49. I still have a lot of work to do, but I like driving it so much that I just can't bring myself to start tearing it down and cutting out the rust. I plan to drive it for a couple of years before that. Thanks again though.

Re: My Build Story, And I'm Sticking To It!

Well, it's nearly winter here and I guess it's time to start working on Ol' yeller again. I really want to take the top iff this spring so I think the body mounts are next. Will post some pics of that nightmare in the next couple of weeks.

Body mounts are not that bad if they haven't rusted solid...I had to drill mine out.

Good luck Mario! Keep the pics and progress coming.
