Re: Header Solution
Have you gotten the Big Block ones complete in Stainless Steel?
What is the specifications? Tube Diameter? Collector size and type? What motor mount are you using? I'm interested in ordering a set, but need to find out what is available?

I'm interested as well, for the big block headers. Need to know the details on the type of motor mounts used, etc like the other guy.

Re: Header Solution
Is there any way we can get the name of the shop doing these so we can contact them directly? I'm not feeling good about this and may just go with an off-the-shelf set.

Re: Header Solution
Can the SBC version be built with LT1 D-port flanges? Do you know if they'll clear everything using '72 OEM SBC towers & pads for the LT1 & 6spd Manual using a hydraulic clutch?
Thanks for putting this together & even doing the BBC version - might be getting a set of those for a 72 BB Burb myself. Both versions look SWEET.

Re: Header Solution
Yes they can be made with lt-1 d port flanges. As far as fitting that setup I would not know. You can pm me some measurements and photos and I'll do my best to find out if they will fit. I don't think we will be able to find a local truck with that same setup.
PS one side of the BB headers are done. Working on the other side then one last test fit. Last edited by Jokers69; 11-24-2009 at 02:22 AM. |

Re: Header Solution
Jokers69, I'm interested in a set of your coated headers with the D-ports and 3" ball/socket collector. I'm currently doing a frame-off on a 71 SWB C10 and will be installing a 95 LT1 with 700R4 trans. Can you provide contact info, pricing and delivery time?
Thanks, Justin |
