Re: How about some pics of 47-59
Buddy Holly, what color is your '52?? Is it one of the original Green colors? Can't tell for sure. I plan on going with 'Brewster Green' on my '50 project. If you have any more pics of it could you post or send some?? Thanks

Re: How about some pics of 47-59
I hate to post a photo of mine because of all the awesome trucks already shown here. But it is my project and I am proud of what I have accomplished so far with it.

Just in case you missed it, you can go back to the previous page and look at my truck. You will feel much better then.

And we love what you've done so far too! Any chance of posting more pics of your accomplishment? Maybe claim some bragging rights on that drivetrain! That tubular front suspension is sweet too.

This is what my truck looked like after I got it home and tore it down. No engine, transmission or interior. I paid $400.00 for it. I removed the complete bed assembly and junked it because it was totally rusted out. But now that I think about it, there might have been some panels that I could have re-used. Now I have to get a whole new bed for it. Oh well, Live and learn. The truck sat in my driveway for several years before I finally figured out what I wanted to do with it. Besides, I had to build a shop on the end of my garage so I could get the truck in.

The first thing I tackled was the door frame.

Re: How about some pics of 47-59
The next thing on the agenda was the floor pan. One of the previous owners cut a piece out of the floor pan for a shifter, I guess, and there were numerous holes that looked like some were drilled and others looked like someone used a .44 magnum to put holes to bolt something in.

Re: How about some pics of 47-59
Excellent! Thanks for putting those pics up. Lots of members here use Photobucket to display a photo album. I've never used it, but maybe someone will chime in and throw some advice your way. Once you have it set up, you just post a link to it in these forums. Or you could start a whole new thread for your build. Something like what Ben did here;

I think I will follow Poncho Villa's advice and start my own thread.

Excellent work! When you start a build thread, be sure to add it to your sig so that others browsing the pics here will be able to find it easier!
