Re: My 69 lonbed
Easy there buddy!....some of us are a little slow....I've been known to do way less than this in three hours. Yep, I know your kidding, I really am slow though. I look at builds on here and wonder if some of these guys are messing with us and doing time lapse photography? seems to me it takes more time than it did when I was 20...hmmm must be getting old.
Brian, the fender looks good! |

well im in my 20s and it takes a lot of time for sure! im a bit of a perfectionist so i don't rush my work. i've probably got at least 12 hours into this fender.. no joke. and definately no time lapse... ha ha i work full time and then get on the truck when i have the energy... keep at it, thats what keeps me goin. a little at a time, eventually everything will be done, and right. Thanks again

Re: My 69 lonbed
Your right, all that time will pay off when your cruising around in your truck! The good example here too, saving an original fender instead of using a poor reproduction.

Re: My 69 lonbed
Hey, I understand about the sllloooowww process! I work between 10-16 hours a day 5-7 days a week (depends on week!) and the only time I have to work on my junk is when I have the energy! Three small boys and a wife take most of my time when not working.. Brian, I can really appreciate the time and energy you have. I am in my early 30's and nothing seems to come easy to me anymore. I have SO much to learn, not the least of which is patience! Looks like good progress to me and like Mike said, at least you saved a good fender and didn't have to use a repro one! Keep it up!!
