Re: offical lowered thread of standard cab pu, lets see them!

For the folks that have "C" notched the rear frame is there a kit you used or do you have any pic of the in progress and the finished results
How much clearance do you have between the axle and frame with springs and no bags?
I am tired of the axle bumping on the frame !!

Re: offical lowered thread of standard cab pu, lets see them!

The truck my grandson bought before Christmas is very low...

has 275/45R-20's and the spring hanger bracket will actually go up into the C section
The cross bar on the box has been cut to give rear end room

He's 19 so he thinks its cool

I am 65 and know better I am going to change the drop from 6/8 to 6/7 by moving rear spring hanger up a notch.......

LOL. No. I'm not going that far. I do have the toolbox up for sale and bed caps. Once off that will make it look better.

Thanks

My 99, drop spindles, hangers and shackles. I'd like to drop it another inch or so all the way around.

Re: offical lowered thread of standard cab pu, lets see them!

I picked up this 2002 RCSB from the local gas company, was a 1 driver truck its whole life, pretty plain jane with V-6 and air,I had to do some minor maintenance on it and added a Maxtrac 2/4 lowering kit, got some 2019 Chevy take off rims from the local dealer, maybe down the road I will do a full suspension swap and a LS 376/525 crate engine.
