When I bent mine for my Tempest, I did a coat hanger first. Then it was bend to approximate the coat hanger, check it against the engine, bend a little more... repeat. I ran fuel line and vacuum advance line side by side like that on that OHC6 230 of mine. You have really got that motor looking good man!!

Re: DLoE's Dropmembered 65 StepSiDe Build
Hey I just noticed your fuel line goes from steel line to hose right over your exhaust manifold.
Even though you probably have 2-3" between them, are you going to slide a small heat shield in between?

Looks clean bro. Do you have a racing past, I see you nut & bolt checked with the marker lines.

Hey Mcmurphy, I don't think I'll need it, the picture is a little deceaving, the fuel line is like 3-4 inches away .. I'll keep a eye on it once I fire that badboy up. Gimmy- I live by the orange circle on the other side of the 55.

Re: DLoE's Dropmembered 65 StepSiDe Build
Yes the 200r4 bolts right up. I got a powermaster starter. The 250 starter might be different than mine. The mounting holes are offset on a 250 I think. 292 they are inline.

Re: DLoE's Dropmembered 65 StepSiDe Build
Is that the old Chevy ..... chocolate brown?
Seems I remember they produced panel deliveries and station wagons in that color. Seen one in person about a decade ago, and it looked really cool!
