If it seems like your binding and it wont drop out the rest of the way check your steering center link/bar to make sure it is not flipped. I had mine flipped by accident and didnt know because it installs just fine flipped, and that is about how much it kept from laying crossmember and as soon as I flipped it to the correct direction, it sat right on the garage floor!

I don't think that's going to cause his problem!! He's running a rack and pinion on the dropmember..

I am running a PB dropmember with a rack and pinion. I thought it might be the tie rods hitting the frame, but after sending Nate a picture, he said that wasn't it.

I'm thinking it might be the wrong balljoints or maybe the shocks are bottoming out.. I need to investigate it more.

I do have longer shock towers. Disconnecting the shocks is an easy test.

From the pic you sent over, it didn't appear to be contacting and binding where the rack passes through the frame notch.

Best route is to start using the process of elimination. Take one thing off at a time and see if it makes a difference.

I would remove the shock first, then if that doesn't change anything, unhook the tie rod end at the spindle... and follow that route until she lays down all the way.

Should be something simple.... it always is!

We will get it figured out!

Redneck ingenuity is winning out on this truck. A muffler clamp welded to a frame tube will work just fine for an air tank mount..
