Here's a little transformation picture of what the garage used to look like before I cleaned it up. Not sure how I found anything before!

Re: 68 C10 Project FROSTBYTE Extreme Dropmember
Thanks Jeremy! Yea, I was just telling my wife how nice it would be to be able to drive the truck pretty much 24/7 if we lived down south. No snow and no salty roads!

Re: 68 C10 Project FROSTBYTE Extreme Dropmember
Thanks! The wheels are Bonspeed Big Blocks. They have polished hoops and the centers are brushed with a clear powder coat. I ordered them straight through Brad at Bonspeed. He's a little hard to reach, but when you do talk to him, he's great to work with and very understanding. If you're interested in rims through Bonspeed, they sometimes do a buy 3 rims get one free deal like once a year, which is a great when buying billet rims.

Re: 68 C10 Project FROSTBYTE Extreme Dropmember
Was able to get the motor temporarily mounted on the frame this weekend. I'm looking to order up a new oil pan and some headers soon, got to get that figured out. I also got my high hump transmission cover delivered today!
I'm hoping to dig out all the snow from in front of the shed that's holding all my body parts soon; there was about 2' there yesterday...we got about another foot today, it's never going to end!

Re: 68 C10 Project FROSTBYTE Extreme Dropmember
Updates! I've ordered up a few more parts over the last couple weeks. I ordered up both my front and rear bumper and a hitch. I'm still not sure what I will tow with it yet, but I figured now is the time to get it mocked up so it's not an afterthought. It'll be hidden behind the license plate and should work pretty well. It looks like I'll have to modify the hitch a little bit so that I can lay frame, but it shouldn't be too bad. I also ordered up another really big item this past week and can't wait to show you what it is!
Today I worked on mocking up the rear bumper, but I'm still waiting on the front bumper brackets to get that mocked up. I was also finally able to rearrange all my body parts in my storage shed to get to my cab. And after 7 years of waiting, my cab is now officially back on my frame! Man, I can stop looking at it! This truck that I've been thinking about for so long is finally becoming a reality. I think I'm going to go back to the garage and stare some more haha

Re: 68 C10 Project FROSTBYTE Extreme Dropmember
Thanks! It was so awesome to see it on there. The cab won't be on the frame for too long, just checking clearances, but it's definitely a good motivator!

Re: 68 C10 Project FROSTBYTE Extreme Dropmember
she is coming out awesome brother!!!! I have a question if you don't mind...on your lower control arms were the bushings that came with your arms a very very tight fit when you installed the washer/keys on the Dropmember?

Re: 68 C10 Project FROSTBYTE Extreme Dropmember
Thanks Mike! They were a little tight, not too bad though, I might have used a rubber mallet to get them on, can't remember though.
