Nice work, Dean. That frame does look nice, too. Had a 5HP Campbell Hausfield 20 gallon horizontal tank 110V single stage compressor. It lasted a lot longer than I thought (or wanted, really), but it wouldn't keep up with any type of sander or any tool that runs more than a few seconds at a time. The impact wrench even ran it down. Noisy as all get out. Needless to say, I wasn't too disappointed when it gave up the ghost last winter. I'll use the tank for extra volume in the garage system at some point. That little old two stager will be a vast improvement over the crappy single stage units that get sold by the dozen at Sears or any of the big box stores.

Keep it up. Glad to see somebody working on a yellow truck this weekend. I'm doing taxes and got called in to work yesterday, so the pressure is all on you!

good idea to use the tank for extra air storage. yeah, this old craftsman weighs a ton, i was surprised when i rolled it away when i bought it. man they are quite heavy when they have that cast iron two stage unit. lol dang. such a pain when you get called into work right when your about to dig into another project.

got the pass. side rocker off. not as bad as the drivers side was

unfortuantatly when i was taking out my exuast, the drivers side ram manifold broke. it already had a deep crack in it so it was no good anyways. it probably leaked. oh well that forces me to use Headers

You could find another manifold or a set on the parts board i would imagine, Specialty retail, teeitup or Tll74.

i know what you mean, the shipping Kills it. there was a guy who wanted to give me an 8hp briggs for my gokart project, but the shipping, well lets just say, an 8hp briggs weighs quite a bit.. i appreciate the offer though

sandblasted some random parts to test out the compressor

finished the front floor support and the front floor patch. i dont have the floor support pics on my computer yet so ill put those up later

alright, this is out of order but i wasent able to post this before the floor pics

i plan to clean up the welds better later on. i want to put the cab on its back when all the repairs are done , but i dont want to take the windows out so im not sure if i can. ive seen people flip there cabs on an old mattress,

I flipped mine with the windows in it. I just had mine on some pallets for that period, and put some blankets down where the back window came to a rest. Just be careful with it.

sand blasted some of the front suspension. that old craftsman keeps up well. definitely kicks my friends oilless one in the butt

still a lot of sandblasting to do but it definitely beats trying to haul it somewhere to get it done, and besides i can say that i did it

sorry for the bad pics. got the small kick panel patch in. only about 2 inches of the lower section. the drivers side was rusted about 4 inches up, going smooth so far on this side.
