See, that proves you can make almost anything look good with a Chevy.
@AstroAK - I think you are in the wrong thread asking for parts tips. Go try in the Suspension Department. Welcome to the board.

Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks
I just bought this truck. Here's how it looked the very first time I saw it. It had been sitting a long time so the brakes were shot along with a few other things. Should have it running by the end of the week. Can't wait to give it a damn good wash and get that green gunk off of it!

Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks
Here is a 67-68 that I found locally. It is not mine (I wish) but I figured you guys would enjoy a pic.
Looks mostly original, not sure what is under the hood (but the 454 emblem suggest the big block). The bowtie on the grill looks dented and there is a spot under the HEV on the hood emblems... not sure who owns it, just saw it earlier today in Baker, FL at some baseball fields.

I have previously posted my truck (Fester) but I finally got it lowered 4.5/5 and wanted to show his new stance.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
They are Wheel Vintique 15x8 smoothies with their 56 center caps. Pretty cheap wheels, but man do they make a lot of difference. Next is a 1979 C10 powerbooster, and a 1965 Chevy II steering wheel. And I am thinking hard on having a sign shop do something on the doors, maybe in the Retro Rita vein.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks
This is an update, the old 3/4 ton girl is now 1/2ton!! Lowered spindles, disc brakes and 1" drop spings up front, a 12 bolt rear end off a '71, 3" drop springs and lowering block in the back, new brake lines, hoses, etc... For the wheels and tires, I went with 15x7 and 15x8 Corvette style Rallies and 245 & 275 BFG Radial T/A, great combo for the price. It looks better, is more comfortable and stops a lot better!!
