As long as Sassy opened up truck parts then it should be all good in my book.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

I did get some truck stuff but it was for the new truck TEX. I got a back up camera system. A nice one meant for RV's. 7'' screen w/two color cameras. I think Loretta doesn't want me to run over Sassy again. lol. I'll just use one camera and keep the other as a replacement. I also got the weather beater truck floor mats. i got some other stuff not truck related too.

But before everybody showed up I managed to get the holes drilled and the trim on the drivers side. I think I'll have to remove the rear wheel to drill the holes under the arch, then I can move to the other two pcs.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

Thanks Rus and Keith.

I got Choncho out in the sun today. I got the rest of the side trim on. The bed isn't sitting on right so it looks off. I need to get some trim for the rear lights and tailgate and get those holes drilled. Then that will be it for the hole drilling.

The 67-68 trim is the best trim Chevy ever made for these trucks...in my opinion

Truck looks great

I love the 67/68 CST trim so much that I'm converting my truck from a stepside to a fleetside.

I agree guys and Thanks!
The trim is nice and a lot easier to install than the later years.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

Thanks Jason. Its easier I'm sure with an unpainted truck. If mine were painted it would probably take twice as long lol.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

I'm having a professional body man look at my truck and give me an estimate on finishing the body work and painting it for me. I need this thing sped up. I hope it's a doable # that he gives me. Keep your fingers crossed.

It all depends on the # I get from him. It may stay where its at and I may keep plugging away at it. Still slowly though. We'll see.
