Re: PO has me PO'd
Love those...are they marquez designs or something else? Also, a quick detail suggestion...could you get some allen top stainless screws that you can polish up and install to keep it flush....I think that would take them up another notch..

I have now acquired my 67 hood and inner fender wells.....thanks rochlow! Actually, hood was gotten from a personal stash of two board members, names witheld to protect the innocent. Kinda surprised they didnt blindfold me, since the trucks and parts in this barn were amazing Also, picked up a brand new, never mounted super swamper 10.50x31 for 15bucks Now, 3 more tires and my parts seaching will be done, only took the better part of 10 years

Re: PO has me PO'd
Did the person we were talking about have the louvered hood? I think I might change to an earlier style hood also..

Re: PO has me PO'd
I also bought a 67, 68 GMC hood for parts, big dent on the top. Only paid 30 bucks. Let me know if you need it, before I cut into it.

Re: PO has me PO'd
Finally figured out the best and most controlled tool to use on the plastic..... Width has to come down to 2.240", by using the backer board on the router table it is an easy task to make strait cuts Then, I had to make the cuts on the face of the lense. It is the two raised ribs on the face, only remove the outside ribs as the inside ribs clear the billet piece, with minimal cutting on the ends....more later
