update:
got my 5 tons apart,cleaning up the massive parts.
got old wheel centers cut out,got new one ones made.
working on welding in the new centers now,and welding up my carriers.
got my windshield in.
moving the truck outside next weekend to mock up ride height and start installing axles,will have more pics then.

actually you can float on 4 tires! My buddy in pa has a bronco with 66's on 5tons and it floats very well!
the guys on trucks gone wild were using 48" tires,thats why they used 8 instead of just 4.

oh yeah,we already have permission to float the local pond!!there will be video!

Well,got it done,driven around the yard and field a little bit.gettion it loaded up on a trailer tonite to goto yankee lake truck night over near brookfield ohio.huge mud event,tons of people and everything to stock 2wheel drives to full on monster trucks.
