anything particular? I am 2nd owner, she is an AZ truck - a little rough - I used to drive the crap out of her. Someday she'll get the attention she deserves.

What's left to get on the road - for now:

I ripped a rear break dust seal - so I have a new one coming in, once in I will replace. New seal is here - haven't put it in yet

Tie in rear brake line to axle line - I need a 23" 3/8 steel braided. (any body have any recommendations - company, brand they like?) Did this

Bleed brakes X4 - not done yet - may have a master cylinder issue

Bump stops for rear - probably just 1" er's done

ebrake cables - the one that came with my kit are about 10" to short!!! done

Change oil filter over to modern screw on type wrong part ordered - returned and picking up new part Tuesday

Alignment not done

Rear wheel spacers - since the offset is so much on the Boss 338 - I am going to add an 1" on each side. As is I have 1/2" of room till tires are hitting inner rear fenders - too close!!! (anybody have a recommended company?)done

Install new steering wheel not done

Put bed back on not done

I think that is it! Maybe if I get a good day in next week and can knock most of it out - I will keep ya posted - Ronnie

The things we do for our trucks! I have been spying this other truck for almost 2 years now trying to get the previous owner to sell me the tailgate! Well I couldn't get just the tailgate so I just bought the entire truck

Got it home and switched them out and decided I better get back to work on "Picacho"!

Headed out this afternoon to work on the interior for a bit. I hope to have this thing on the road in a week or two max!!! Riiiiiiiiight!

Thanks Rob - If I had more time and money I would chop it and put it on the ground - I could use the long bed for my son's truck. But since I have to many projects I will probably just clean her up a bit and send her down the road.

Well I have been getting a little done - so I thought I would get an update out!

Was able to wrap up the e-brake, with a new cable and clean up the rear brake area (cable & brake line).

Once I got the brake stuff done - I started to work on the cab a bit.

I went ahead and got a new instrument bezel, as I wanted the chrome trim and the stock one was the grey color. While I was at the store (Impala Bob's) I figured I should get the lens too - glad I did.


I think we just get used to all those scratches



I hope to get a few more things done in the cab tomorrow, I will keep you updated.
