Re: 1972 Black Cheyenne Super Big Block - JWall
Oh Geez!
I do seem to sell them about the time I get them where I want them. Lol. I hope to hang on to this one for atleast a show season. But, everytime I say that I throw out a number & someone shows up with cash... Guess there's worse problems to have. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: 1972 Black Cheyenne Super Big Block - JWall
Well today I got the factory tach hooked up & working to the MSD Ignition without an adapter.
When I bought the truck it had a aftermarket tach hanging under the dash which I never really cared for. I was told it was because you need the adapter to get it to work with the MSD. I decided that I would try to hook up the factory tach without an adapter (I had heard it would work w/o it) or would spend the money for the adapter just to eliminate the tach hanging under the dash. So I am very happy now to have a working factory tach not just a factory tach sitting there doing nothing. |

Re: 1972 Black Cheyenne Super Big Block - JWall
Sounds good as I also cant stand those tachs mounted on the steering column, on the dash or under it....

Re: 1972 Black Cheyenne Super Big Block - JWall
Yeah it looks a lot better. I'd decided I'd rather have no tach then the one that was in it.

Used my new Porter Cable polisher to get the truck cleaned up... it will make its 1st show in a couple of weeks...
Sorry for the cell phone pics... Shot of the hood after polishing but it looks more like a shot of my textured garage ceiling... Got the bed all cleaned up too... |

You missed a spot of lint .. right there on the ..
(kidding) Incredible truck man. I have always liked your valve covers, but I couldn't decide on the ball milled air cleaner lid, or the plain one. You just made up my mind. .. I think .. I'm so indecisive.
